Specimens Required
- Whole fresh or frozen zebrafish, submitted in up to 5-fish pools
- Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded fish are not accepted at this time.
Sampling Requirements

Collection Container
Whole fish: sealed, leak-proof plastic bag or container. Up to 5 fish may be pooled in the container.
Packing Instructions
Label all samples. Store refrigerated. Ship overnight on cold packs in an insulated container.

Special Instructions
WADDL and the Zebrafish International Resource Center (ZIRC) have partnered to provide zebrafish health services. In order to submit zebrafish, please contact Dr. Katy Murray and her group at katy@zebrafish.org or fish_health@zebrafish.org. She will be able to provide information regarding shipping to WADDL and paperwork to send.
