Description
The Bovine Adult Diarrhea Panel (>18 months) screens for common pathogens causing gastrointestinal disease in cattle over 18 months of age. This panel detects the following pathogens: Salmonella sp., Mycobacterium avium ssp. paratuberculosis (Johne's), coronavirus, and gastrointestinal parasites.
If clostridial disease is suspected, suggested by severe hemorrhagic diarrhea, we recommend the addition of Clostridium perfringens culture and Clostridium perfringens toxin genotyping PCR.
