Description
The Bovine Calf Diarrhea Panel (4 months - 18 months) screens for common pathogens causing gastrointestinal disease in calves between the ages of 4 months and 18 months. Pathogens include bacterial pathogen Salmonella species, and gastrointestinal parasites.
If clostridial disease is suspected, suggested by severe hemorrhagic diarrhea, we recommend the addition of Clostridium perfringens culture and Clostridium perfringens toxin genotyping PCR.
