Description
Screening test to detect Listeria monocytogenes . by molecular detection using a Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay.  A presumptive positive result is confirmed by standard reference methods. This molecular screening method provides a faster turnaround time than conventional culture methods for the detection of Listeria monocytogenes in food and food products.


Specimens Required
This protocol is validated for the detection of Listeria monocytogenes in deli turkey, hot dogs, smoked salmon, and cottage cheese by AOAC-Research Institute and in all food products and environmental samples by AFNOR validation. A presumptive result is confirmed by standard reference methods. AOAC certificate number: 
081501 and by AFNOR official Methods certification 3M 01/15-09/16 (3M Saint Paul, MN).
