Description
Screening test to detect Escherichia coli O157:H7 by molecular detection using a Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay. A presumptive positive result is confirmed by standard reference methods. This molecular screening method provides a faster turnaround time than conventional culture methods for the detection of Escherichia coli O157:H7 in food and food products.
Specimens Required
This protocol is validated for the detection of raw beef, leafy produce, fruits, vegetable, raw eggs, raw dairy, and apple cider by AOAC official method 2017.01 and AFNOR certified Method 3M 01/18-05/17.
