Testing is performed at University of Idaho's Analytical Science Lab (ASL).
Description
Single quantitation of one of the following analytes: arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, cobalt, copper, iron, lead, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, or zinc within a specimen. A different mineral may be available upon request.
A multiple-mineral screen is also available through the Tissue Mineral Screen.
Toxicology testing is currently being sent out to comparable AAVLD accredited laboratories. Any questions can be directed to the WADDL Toxicologist, Dr. Chelsea Sykes.

Specimens Required
Preferred Sample Type:
- Liver (1-3 g with a minimum of 0.1 g)
Other Sample Type:
- Kidney (1-3 g with a minimum of 0.1 g)
Sampling Requirements
Samples should be chilled or frozen and sent with an ice pack.
