Description
Quantitation of strychnine within a specimen.
Specimens Required
Preferred sample type:
- GI Contents (10-50 g including vomitus, lavage washings)
- Source material (10-50 g)
Other acceptable samples:
- Liver (10-50 g)
- Serum (5-10 mL)
- Urine (5-10 mL)
Sampling Requirements
Samples should be frozen and sent with an ice pack.
