Description
The Fecal Floatation Test is for identifying internal gastrointestinal parasites. WADDL generally performs the Modified Wisconsin floatation method for all companion animals and the McMasters method for all ruminants and horses. Both methods allow WADDL to report quantitative parasite counts per gram. 
Specimens Required
3-5 grams of fresh feces, free of feed, bedding or debris.

Special Instructions
For identification of Toxoplasma and Giardia the feces must be fresh and submitted to the laboratory immediately.
