Description
Fecal Baermann testing is commonly used for the isolation and identification of lung worm larvae.
Specimens Required
5-10 grams of fresh feces, free of feed, bedding or debris.

Special Instructions
For companion animal testing if lung worms are suspected it is recommended to also perform a fecal floation for the detection of Eucoleus aerophilus (syn. Capillaria aerophila).
