Detection of ovine herpesvirus-2, the causative agent of sheep-associated malignant catarrhal fever (SA-MCF), by real-time PCR.

Specimens Required
  • 1 g fresh, frozen, or formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE)  tissues:
    • Lymphoid tissue (preferred)
    • Lymph nodes
    • Spleen
    • Liver
    • Lung
    • Kidney
    • Intestines
  • 1-2mL EDTA whole blood

Tissues: sealed, leak-proof plastic bag or container.
Packing Instructions
