Description
Detection of antibodies to caprine arthritis encephalitis virus (CAEV) in caprine sera, or ovine progressive pneumonia virus (OPPV) in ovine sera, by competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (cELISA).
Specimens Required
2 ml serum preferred, or 3-5 ml clotted blood.

Special Instructions
If ordered as part of the Caprine/Ovine Biosecurity Screen, please send minimum 5.0ml blood.
Samples must arrive at WADDL by noon one business day before the scheduled test day to be included in the next day's run. Samples that miss the deadline will be held until the next scheduled test day.
Excessively hemolyzed samples are not acceptable for testing.
