Description
Detection of antibodies to Brucella abortus and Brucella suis, causative agents of brucellosis, by fluorescence polarization method.
Specimens Required
2 ml serum preferred, or 3-5 ml clotted blood.

Special Instructions
Completed and signed official brucella test form may be required if testing for official purposes.
Samples must arrive at WADDL by noon one business day before the scheduled test day to be included in the next day's run. Samples that miss the deadline will be held until the next scheduled test day.
Excessively hemolyzed samples are not acceptable for testing.
