Description
Detection of antibodies to Anaplasma marginale, Anaplasma ovis, and Anaplasma centrale, causative agents of anaplasmosis, by competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (cELISA) in cattle.
Specimens Required
2 ml serum preferred, or 3-5 ml clotted blood.

Serum: Glass or plastic tubes with no additives, e.g., red top tubes, or serum separator tubes.

Special Instructions
Samples must arrive at WADDL by noon one business day before the scheduled test day to be included in the next day's run. Samples that miss the deadline will be held until the next scheduled test day.
Excessively hemolyzed samples are not acceptable for testing.
