Description
Unstained positively charged/adhesive slides are acceptable specimens. Minimum of 3 slides per test requested.
The test identifies disease-associated prion protein in tissue sections using a monoclonal antibody. Test results aid in the definitive diagnosis of prion diseases in animals, primarily chronic wasting disease in cervids.
