Description
Unstained positively charged/adhesive slides are acceptable specimens. Minimum of 3 slides per test requested.
The test identifies antigens of bovine virus diarrhea virus (BVDV) in tissue sections using monoclonal antibody 15C5. Test results aid in the diagnosis of various types of diseases associated with acute BVDV infection, as well as BVDV persisent infection (PI) that occur primarily in cattle.
