Unstained positively charged/adhesive slides are acceptable specimens. Minimum of 3 slides per test requested.
The test identifies glycoprotein C of bovine herpesvirus-1 (also known as infectious bovine rhinbotracheitis virus (IBR)) in tissue sections using a monoclonal antibody. Test results are used for the diagnosis of reproductive, respiratory, and enteric disease assocated with infection by IBR virus, which occurs primarily in cattle.
