Description
Tests kidney or ovarian fluid samples from fish for Renibacterium salmoninarum using a polyclonal antibody-based ELISA. The result is "Positive" or "Negative."
Specimens Required
- Fresh or frozen kidney (individual)
- Fresh or frozen ovarian fluid (individual or pooled)
Sampling Requirements
Samples are collected from individual fish using separate instruments to collect each sample; if pooled samples, use separate instruments to collect each pool.

Sterile polypropylene tubes with leak resistant caps.
Packing Instructions
Sample tubes should be packaged in plastic zip-top bags to prevent moisture entry and reduce likelihood of sample-to-sample contamination. Ship chilled in an insulated cooler with ice packs.
